• Compared to conventional paint systems, with Hot Dip Galvanizing you do not have the worries of damage during shipping & the additional cost of touch up repairs at the site. A galvanized coating is impervious to abrasion and is sacrificial should coating become damaged.
  
• In most cases galvanized coatings can last 20-25 years without any maintenance compared to paint systems that usually require maintenance ever 2-3 years after initial installation.
  

Finished product after Signal light standard was repaired and Hot Dip Galvanized to CSA G 164M, 1992. Based on studies by the American Galvanizing Association, you should expect 40 years of maintenance free service. NOTE: Standard is galvanized both internally and externally for total corrosion protection
